Ian Gemmell - Senior Business Advisor

Ian has developed and managed a number of manufacturing and building industry related companies and has a formidable reputation as a turn-around specialist.

Ian’s consulting roles have included strategic planning, corporate recovery and market development. He has significant property development and project management experience.

Professional experience includes: Managing Director of ATCO Industries (Australia), and a senior takeover CEO for Industrial Equity Limited. Over the last 10 years he has been Chairman of Glenmont Properties, Executive Chairman of Aunger Automotive Products, Director of the Wylie Group, and a Senior Project Manager for Pivot Axiom Property Group.

Ian has undertaken consulting projects for Fielders/Woodroofe's Group, WACO Group (South Africa), and Boral Building Products where he worked for two years on the commercialisation of an innovative insulated steel wall system. He has worked in many regions of the world and consequentially has broad international business knowledge, contacts and experience. Ian is also an expert on international remote area and disaster relief housing with extensive experience working in the Middle East and South East Asia.
